Plato once said that music “is a more potent instrument than any other for education”. The sage knew this much before our scientists who complemented him through their recent research that goes to prove that music uses both sides of the brain, a fact that gives it immense importance when it comes to planning overall growth of individuals in education. The innate abilities to create music through instruments or voice can give many notable musicians and singers to a society if nurtured through appropriate and adequate training and guidance. Music classes are an integral part of the RCS Primary School programme. Not only this, we offer extra classes for our willing and capable senior students conducted by experienced musicians in the city to help them learn skills to play various instruments and sharpen their voice quality through proper training.
